Here is a list of guidelines to follow when diving in Egypt:
- Perform a pre-check on your equipment and that of your companion
- Watch your depth and don’t exceed what you have achieved in training. A limit of 30 metres is usually applied
- Make sure that you avoid touching the reef to prevent damage, and also to avoid personal injury
- When you reach 5 metres, perform a safety stop for about 3 minutes. Ensure that you complete this close to the reef or the mooring line.
